DRUM ROLL PLEASE...MY NEWS!!!!
OK Here it is!!!!!!!! I quit my job today!!! I turned in my resignation!!!! My last day is November 18th!! I have had enough working there!!!!!!! So here is the news you all have been waiting for...LOL Oppertunity came knocking at our door last week and we thought it over and made up our minds and are going to do it!!!!!!! We recieved a call from the apartment complex BIGWIG and asked if I was interested in managing one of their complexes and if Rick was interested in managing the maintenance. We asked if we could take a ride to look it over to see what it was all about and she said sure thing!! So thursday off we went. It is about a 2 hour drive from here and its a 104 unit complex. VERY nice I might add!!! Makes this one look like a dump!!! Yeah! So we were shown around and we asked questions and all and we asked where we would live and asked if we could see that apartment. It is where the managers are now living and getting ready to move out of so it was not very clean because of them packing up stuff...but we got the look of it any how...very nice!!! These apartments look more like houses than apartments. :-) So anyhow I asked why they were leaving and they said they had been there for 9 years and wanted a change of sceanery and are going to another complex to run. Oh Ok. So there are 2 sides to this one. one side is seniors and handicap and the other is regular renters. Has 2 club houses also for them to rent for parties etc. Grounds are also very nice!! Nothing like here at all!!!! So anyhow we will get free rent, utilities, pay, benifits, bonuses and also money to have parties/cookouts for the residents certain times of the year!! This sounds like something right up our alley!!!! So like I said we thought about this all weekend and made up our minds last night and we are going for it!!! OH!!! They are also paying our moving expenses to move there!!! We will start our training next week when i am off work tuesday and wednesday. Also getting gas money for travel for that. We are so excited!!!!!!!!!! Both of us getting a job and not even looking for it!!! How lucky can we be??? And the best thing of this is....getting away from his mother!!!!! LOL Now did I say that out loud??? LMAOOOOOOOOO
So now you know my secret!!! What do you think?? Did I do the right thing by quitting my job here??
